i posed on here b4 about a 4x4 swap of my 1980 f100 well i found a new 4x4 frame like suggested its a 1980 f100 4x4 but its full size and the body i got is a single cab step side and was woundering how well my body will fit on a full size frame


first pic is the frame and the jeep body that the guy has on it now
second one is my truck now

from front forward u shd be fine cept if the frame is a long box   u can cut the frame to a short bed frame ...

are the wheel bases the same do you know cause dont want to  have to move the rar axle i dont really have the tools do that i got basic hand tools and a set of torchs lol ive tried looking it up but i cant find it anywere

Your truck IS a full size, but like mentioned it appears the frame is for a long box. The wheelbases are NOT the same so the frame and axle would have to be modified.

man thats going to suck never had to mess with stuff like this... looks like theres no time but the present to learn a new skill haha

its not hard to shorten the frame. do you have a welder? that is the only thing you need besides a sawsall.
