Title: new stun gun law

personally I think every one, not just CPL holders, should be able to own and carry one of these, lets face it, if you have to defend yourself with a firearm and kill your attacker you get arrested for murder, this could be a good alternative or back up weapon...

not to mention some people, my wife being one of them, can't even handle a 9mm, for someone like her a stun gun or Taser  would be great to have...

You are going to regret not having a real gun when the other guy does.  If the big guns scare someone to carry, even a little 6 shot .25 will be helpful, it is just about as scary as a cap gun but will take down any criminals that jump you break your nose and through your head into the cement.  I would say however after you had to defend yourself, maybe consider talking to a lawyer before you talk to the police.  A lot of false charges are flying around lately.

I don't intend on stopping carrying my Sig, I'd like one for a back up or when deadly force might not be nessesary...

Between a stun gun.........and my 1911 45........I'd rather have something that can ( reach out ) and touch some one in a more painful way.....I'll stick with my 45.

maybe the stun gun is meant to save a few lives ..     instead of killing     its a lot to live with .
stop them, stun them    a little better than a double /tripple  tap         I still carry the gun  but hope i never need to use it.
