This is what happens when you try to work ground over top of a natural ground-fed spring - an EPIC FAIL for sure. Just an fyi, I am not the one who buried this beast in here like this, and its turning into a real problem to say the least. It's only been in there since 10am yesterday morning and has already sunk at least a foot more like 18". Add to the equation of us jerking the hell out of it for about 4hrs straight, and we gots a serious problem.
Need a damn Steiger and a 50' strap to get this behemoth out of that sink hole, or maybe a major 4wd lol.
We now know conclusively that this Case is stuck. Bottomed out in the rear....obviously. and the front axle beam is damn near ground level (the tractor has sank at least another 6" since these pics were taken this afternoon). Another week or so, there may not be a tractor to recover
dozer time!
Dam. time for one of these.

Wheres Don? ==roll that sucks.
get some 6x6 or bigger that about 2-3 feet longer than the rear tire, chain it to the rim so that 1-1 1/2 feet is sticking out past tire on both sides, put her in gear and power out. Its always worked for us,
==doh ==kp
I knew i could find a vid loll its all a different language and he uses some logs and what not but its the same concept

Have you tried backing another tractor up to the back of it and holing onto it with the three point and lifting it while pulling? Have you also tried to put thing under the wheels so it can gain traction like rocks or old boards? We had our tractor stuck like that last spring doing 1st cut of hay in a rented field.... Needless to say we never went ba k to that field after we got the tractor out lol
i had 2090 case that thing would find the littlest wet spot and sink like rock. we could not to pull it out with our 3020 jd. so we get a friends JD 644a loader to pull it out every time. those case are heavy.

That'd work awesomely in this situation. Need somethin with big tires and good traction.

Yeah we tried that same concept out.....but bc the ground is so soft from the standing water all it did was sink the logs deep into the mud. So now its about 6-12" lower into the mud than what it was when these pics were taken.

Yeah we tried chaining to the 3pt arms with the Farmall 400, but all that did was make the 400 ride some serious wheelies. We've tried just about every idea under the son, short of a big boy 4wd tractor that is. We've thrown a half dozen logs into the trenches this tractor made with the back tires, but bc the water line is so high in this area there's basically no bottom to it. every log that we threw in those holes have since disappeared in the mud. We've thrown at least 6 logs measurin about 14" diameter about 2' long into the holes and lost all of them. And yet with all those logs the tractor still sits lower than when we started this morning. Go figure.
Lol yeah that's sounding about like this situation. Its actually our neighbor's back field that he had no use for, so we decided to work it up and plant some alfalfa seed out there to bale for the cows this summer. Not getting off to a great start, thats for sure.

I'm startin to believe that. It's a great running tractor, has low-range gearing that would snap your neck if ya pop the clutch, but damn it sure isnt the most sure-footed tractor on this property.
Here's a little bit that makes it more interesting. Somehow, not entirely sure how as of yet, but we managed to rupture the rear left tire on the Case. A flat tire adds more difficulty to this already pain in the ass ordeal.
LOOKS LIKE A GREAT PLACE TO START A BOGG applaudd
Looks like your guna have to disassemble tractor piece by piece, that will get ya unstuck loll
looks like u need mud king to give it a yank with his 66's
Yup, you got yourself one stuck tractor!

==hmmm have you tried hooking 2 tractors or a few trucks to it? Id hook onto it with the suburban if ya had another tractor or truck hooked up also...
dod you guys get it out? I think I got a buddy coming to owosso with 64" tractor tires on a blazer mabye he will help ya lol
heres a idea.... lol. Pile some 8-10ft logs behind it and put a strap around them to hold the pile together. then run your tow strap over the log pile so it pulls up on the stuck one... ==dunno looks like it needs to come up then out.
Wrap ur recovery strap around the tire at opposite direction of whichever u want ur tire to spin and other end at other vehicle and slowly spin ur tire as ur strap tighten by the turn of ur wheel act as of a winch ur tire will ride on the strap winding all the way to a hooked vehicle kinda hard to explain but guess that the best i can explain and if anyone has better clear definition of what i m trying to say feel free to clearify

Thats an OLD SCHOOL trick and it works great, had to do that several times!!
i got a 6000 lb truck with a 10,000 lb winch 50$ i'll give it a shot, just lookin for the gas $
hook something to the front of me for more weight. to hold me still
FINALLY! ITS OUT! And surprisingly we did it without a big 4wd tractor. It only took getting the old Massey backhoe running to dig out a runoff road, shoveling out the underside of the tractor for 2+hrs, a 6" yank strap and a bogger ('79 F150 400 on 38s) to get it out. That flat rear tire really kicked our a$$es trying to get it out too. But, it's out, that's all that matters. And there's quite the swimmin hole where it was lmao
==cl congrats
Atleast you can use the ol girl again around the farm
so whens the bog?

Maybe after we find a new tire for it that is.
