Title: Np205 problem
Post by: Jthomas on May 29, 2012, 04:59:44 PM
Just traded my twin stick 205 for a plain one. I I start the twin stick mod on this one, and come to find out, there is a handfull of roller bearings in the bottom of the case, and pieces of a bearing assem. The front driveshaft yolk was loose, I just thought it was the nut, (that was loose too). So I think it's missing a bearing on the front output side. The roller bearings in the cover for the gears are good. But I don't know where this ate up bearing came from. Any ideas? I'd post pics, but I can't.

Thanks.

also did you split the case yet?  either way your guna have to, to find  out where it came from and to inspect gears to make sure they didnt get all chewed up.

Pics on the way. Luckly the roller bearings are stuck in a clump of bearing grease, so nothing got sucked through the gears.
