I took my ugly ass bushwackers off today just to find a whole bunch of rust (exaggerated) but I was thinking of cutting my fenders my bed is pretty much toast on it's wheelwells and my fronts are no better anyone have any tips on doing such a thing not alot of material is needed to be removed maybe 2" but I don't want it to look like a hack job either. My main question is what to do with the inner fenders? Its a 91 f150 regular cab

I use a plasma cutter? and if I cant run inner fenders I built a motor box!
Sawzall. And a bfh are going to be your best friends loll
Tape measure. Sharpie or chalk. a plasma cutter, or a good torch. And maybe a grinder to smooth it all out if u want too
Well I was going to keep them on the truck what about a cut off wheel? And what do I need a BFH for? This is my first time attempting this since if I screw it up I'll buy a new bed since cutting them is the only way my bed has a chance at looking decent and front fenders are easy to find and fairly cheap but a new bed is expensive for me lol the other thing was cut shape my truck has round fenders but its an 91 everything is square I was thinking of cutting them a little more square than round what do you guys think?

Is there lines left from the bushwackers? I've used them as a guideline to cut mine before, or drawl it out with a grease pencil (China marker) something that is easily removable from paint and use a cut off wheel, and GO SLOW, take your time and it will look a lot better, don't plunge cut into it or it will look like p00 to, keep you motions slow and gradually make your cut, as far as inner fenders you may be able to fudge them to make them work, bend them or replace with a flexible plastic cut to shape

Take a look at this. I never lifted this truck, I made cardboard templates and drew my cuts so the were uniform. I used an angle grinder for almost all of it. I went from 235/75/15s to 35-12.50 without any lift. Most people didn't realize it was cut until they looked close.
People use bfh's to bend the fenders in so they don't cut up the tire or Suin like that
Thanks for the info you guys I thought about tracing out the flairs but I think it would be to much I think I'll see what I can do tomorrow if I get out of work early enough my front inner fenders are already plastic and my rear has metal at the top but rubber flaps in front and rear I'll try to post some pics of what it looks like now with them.then with them off and then trimming
