I'm having trouble trying to pick out a floor shifter. I have a twin stick Tcase and a th400. I was wondering if anyone could post pics? I have a full manual shift trans, so I will be shifting constantly. It seems most are made for cars, so what I'm getting at is that I don't want to be bent over shifting all the time. It will be in my k5. I've seen truck shifters, but idk how they look.
Pics or any sort of review would helpful.
Thanks

x2 I just use some angle iron for a stand, Im not to worried ho w pretty it is like that, but if you were you can always slap some sheet metal around it :)
Just put a hurst quarter stick in the truck yesterday, made a tower to raise it off the floor. Had a megashifter that was junk. If you have a reverse valve make sure you get a shifter that works with reverse pattern, some wont.
Yea mines reverse pattern.
But can I see pics of them in the trucks?

I cant get pics to load, Get the shifter u want, see how high you want it and bend a piece of steel to raise it. i raised the hurst 4 inches but the b&m just sat on the floor.
check out the scs cheetah shifter..... alot of the guys we bog with run them. it doesnt have all the lock out levers etc the standard race car shifters do. it uses stagard gates. We just build a stand to mount them to so ya can get the shifter up where ya want it.
i run a B&M STAR SHIFTER only works with foreward shift patterns, but i love it, worked great with my th350, ans it does a dicent job on my 700r4

B&M Quicksilver
I will never run a different shifter. I love it.
Is that a ratchet?
Could I get a pic looking into the cab, I can't really tell how far down from the seat it is. Like since I have to shift all the time, I don't want to be bent over.
take a look at this thread, this is how I had my shifter set up in my 77 chevy it will give you a good idea :)

stilts!! i like it lol
I don't.
I have a b&m ratchet shifter, I have race buckets, they sit up a little taller then regular seats, and I placed my shifter on the floor next to my seat, and made sure I could grab it easily and was comfortable before drilling holes and mounting it, mine is in a k5 too, ill try to get a pic soon, I like b&m just make sure the shifter will accept your full manual valve body
i run a full manual reverse shift pattern in my 350 trans and i use a b&m light truck mega shifter and love it.
