Title: 90 f250 axle swap

im doing a sas swap on my 90 f250 i have a d44 outta 74 f250 just wondering what all i need to do for this swap and any ways to make it go smoother. also wondering if i can swap over the brakes from the ttb to the d44 any help would be greatly appricated

the best thing to is find axel out of 1978-1979 3/4 ton. one is the brakes the axel you have is drum and its ball & socket no change over. then its not the same width. you need to use 1978-79 drag link & tie rods. just a lot easyer with the right front end!!!  just my 2 cents

ok well i got this axle already cant afford to buy another i have full access to a machine shop at work so i was gonna move the spring pads
