Do you happen to know what the spline count is that i should be looking for? I looked it up a while back but forgot what it was...i believe it was a 32 spline am i right?

If you want the correct T-case for that model year (1989) then you'd want a NP241.

Do you have a mechanical Speedometer cable, or is it electric?    GM went to a electric cable in the 90 model year for its k5 blazers and suburbans.............not sure if they went to it earlier than that for the 1988-up C/K trucks............but if they did, and you have a electric speedo then you might have to look for a 90-91 NP241 from a Suburban or Blazer (they were still solid axle)........because the older NP208 is mechanical speedo and will not work with an electric cable set up.

I already have the 241 pass. Side drop tcase and it doesnt have the same spline count so im going.to be looking to sell that and get one that does fit. As far as speedo i dont care if it works or not cuz it will be strickly mud so it wont matter. What are you thinking you would want for it cory...its not the 208 i sold you is it cuz if it is it wont work.
