Title: 16.9 x 26 to 18.4s?
Post by: four_by_ken on August 14, 2012, 04:40:03 PM
Can you use the same rims for 16.9s and 18.4s?

How picky are tractor tires with width of rims?

You can use the same rims. If you use a narrower rim it will make the tires taller. If you use a wider rim it will lay a wider foot print and be a little shorter.

I figured this would be like a typical tire...  I hope this is the case.

I just never hear anyone talking about rim width and the tire bead, etc. when concerned with tractor tires.
