Title: quick body work question

anyone know what that stuff u wash ur rig with before u sand it suppose take all the left over residue from wax and what not so paints better??

was told dawn dish soap but thats for grease and grim ... will it remove wax stuff to ?


and seems im on this topic.... who buys body pannels where and whos cheap

doing rockers and paint the s10..

acetone should remove whats left after you use dish soap.

Check Mid michigan body parts in harrison, google them for their website.

     "prep all " wax and grease remover   takes away dust  from sanding  dosent attack any filler materials

i use xzylene it leaves no residue and drys fast.  i use it before applying bedliner

before you start body work it is a good idea to wash the vehicle with dawn because it will remove most wax , and you can use a wax and grease remover before primer and also before paint, use two rags one with wax and grease remover and a clean rag, wipe on wipe off  dont do too large of an area at a time you dont want it to dry on the surface.
