Title: How did you run your lines for the radiator in the back
Post by: Crazymays77 on September 01, 2012, 02:40:04 PM
Ok I am planning to move the radiator to the back of the tracker. want to know what  you used to run the coolant to the back. I plan to use exhaust pipe but want to see what you all did also. im wondering about the rubber hose on the pipe will it want to come off under all that pressure. should i flare the ends some how so its like a normal radiator pipe? any info will help thanks.

ok so how and where did  you run the pipe to the back? How did you secure it to the frame or body? I think i figured out how i will run them from the front to the back but i will have to run it on top of the frame towards the outside of the frame. just not sure if i should secure it to the frame or the underside of the body and what to use. I was thinking the hangers they make for the conduit and then should I weld the seams or use rubber hose to join the pieces together. gonna have a few tight bends and what not. thanks

I used the conduit... and used the fasteners for the conduit and screwed it to the frame..... you can weld it just know its guna smell real bad and try not to breath in the fumes... its galvinized or you could use rubber hose :)

yeah i welded that stuff before just have to grind the crap off there best you can then weld it. Im thinking of getting a thick rubber mat and cutting two holes the same size as the pipe and using that to stop it from being able to move around and use it to go thru the floor it will seal the area from mud getting in and keep the pipes from moving around and rubbing the steal anywhere. plus i could use it to mount it to the frame or what not too if i can get it right then it would be able to move a little but not damage it either.
