so ive been searching google all day, scrolled through some forms, and came across this --> http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=271171 (http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=271171)
then i did some more research. they really dont make any headers that will fit without modifying the frame rail, or denting a pipe, and so on. im looking to stuff the largest pipes i can (2''-2 1/4''+) with a 3.5''+ collector.
im really having a hard time trying to find some, getting close on the project, and i need pipes.
anyone know of any? or got any feedback with what they are using? pics of problems?
thanks

If I was you. Ive been following your project
I think that it would be really sweet if you eather had or if you built a custom set of fenderwell headers for it. ;D
i will when i get to school, i leave in 2 weeks, dont have the time or right welder to make some. i was thinking of just putting on a set of uprights, but i dont want anymore holes in the hood. eventually if i run uprights, ill just take the hood off or somthing. but in the meantime, i need a set to run open so i can start it up and take it to school.
I can get you in touch with a guy that has a set for an 85 truck which should be the same as a k5 I believe. They're Big fenderwell headers and I know they won't be cheap but if you want I can get you his #. He's putting the BB in a different vehicle and has to have new headers built.

them are some sweet headers I may have to buy them lol
What's he asking for them?
he works third shift I'll get ahold of him latter and let you know
Thanks
got ahold of him and he said $1000 not a penny less, I know he paid over $1500 for them and all they've seen is sand and dirt drags no mud at all.
He also said they are nitoplated (ceramic type coating) with a lifetime warrenty on the plating and he believes that warrenty is transferable
Them are some real nice headers. Sorry but I can't afford that ATM. But thanks
i was told that there was a company that sends you a kit? you moch it up, send it back to them, then they send you the final product.
is this true? ever hear of it?
if so, whats the company name, i cant find anything about it
you buy the kit and you build them is what I have seen

That's the only kit I have know of.
But some guy was telling me that you could like moch them up, or like custom build your heads with a material they give you or something. Then you send it back to them. Then they send u a finished product.
Will headers off like a k1500 fit a k5?
