Gonna be starting a chevy cummins swap soon. Never done one before. Itll be going in a single cab 84.
I was just looking for some basic info and parts that I'll need. I'm pretty sure I heard that you have to put a body lift on for clearance reasons and that the cross member needs to be cut out?
Just looking for alittle more clear directions.
And if anyone is close and is willing to come do some wrenching, I can provide beer and pizza ;D
Maybe send big al a pm
Check out CumminsChevy85 on youtube. Not sure if all his videos are still up or not, but he did a pretty detailed swap on his 79 or 80 chevy 4x4 truck. Great videos. I watched him start it on you tube a few years back but kinda trailed off and forgot about it. But try looking him up. Also google what your doing. Tons of websites, pictures, and videos of guys that have done this swap also. Good luck!
