Title: how big of tire can a 1994 3500 4x4 chevy clear

so i picked up a dually 1994 6.5 diesel chevy 3500 4x4 it has 245/75/16's on it how big can i go with out front fender clearance problems can i clear a 285?

Should be able to if you crank the torsion bars

285 will clear with not touching the t bars... you can clear a 315 75 16 with t car cranking.. and fender trimming

3500 dually? have to make sure the tires on rear can keep the gap between them or you use spacers.

yea dually i was wondering if i would need rear spacers. I didnt want to crank the t bars up either i like how it rides just want more rubber

usually if you are using a wider tire you have to use spacers on rear as you cant let them rub each other. spacers are available and generally aroun 250-300. gives truck a different look and my 99 ford actually made its width 8 foot 6 inches wide. you can get tires that are 32 and still skinny which is what i just put on my dodge ram 3500...
