Idk if this has been covered yet or discussed but the thought crossed my mind....... Could I use a ac condenser for a trans cooler or a oil cooler? I know they can handle the pressure but I mean there just as big as a radiator so I'm sure if it is possible it would do one hell of a job keeping the trans fluid or oil temps down??
Idk if it would flow enough, the internal passages may be too small, thats my only thought since freon is a gas
I have one in each of the trucks, just use the bigger size tube. works great
You can get a pretty large tranny cooler from summit (20x10x1.25)
Or something really close to that for $85

gotcha.... I do have a few of the smaller trans coolers layin around too, but I have never noticed a huge difference in temps only around 5- 10 deg. I like using those coolers for the power steering pump cooler, some say it is quite unnecessary to use em on a stock power steering pump setup but I have never had a pump go bad by using one with it.....
