Title: 2.5 ton gmc tcase question on shift patterns

just picked up a truck that is running the stock 2.5 ton case. what is the shift pattern with the two rods? i can only seem to find high rang and netural..

gm made three different t cases one hade high and low that was for the automatic trans and the one u have is for a stick trans it needs another t case in between to have a low ranger. but u also have a extra in your case . when u put ur truck in reverse u can pull the rod all the way out and u have 4x4 in reverse the other case does not .and the other case is smaller and has high ,low and reverse 4x4 and it also has almost a 3:1 low range.i have that case its nice .my brother in law has the other high low case and its way heavyer but still works good.the case number i have is a gm2

Well i pick up another case and it seems to be 2 wheel or low? And the fronts always spinning?

the first pic is the case that has low range. the second pics is the case that came out of the truck. also the case with high range only seem to have allo way bigger splines that the yokes slide on to.
