tryin too decide what rpm range too goo with on a stall convertor 6.17 gears in axels 53 inch tires small block engine has 1500 rpm in it know
i run a stock convertor out of a car (on c6 the cars had a couple hundred rpm more than the truck) I say it depends on your cam, if it doesnt get in the power till round 3000 then i would go with that stall. For just a play mud truck with a idle to 5000 cam i keep em stock. Just my 2 cents ++peace
it depends on motor weight and gear/ tire lots of info needed for that call edge converters they can help Im sure
Put a stick in it
I use a stock turbo 350 trans, works just fine. just put it in gear and leave it and don't shift till ya feel like it. And I run around 3500-4500 Rpms every time I go out. I got 57'' tires And 6.72 gears, I run fine
