Who thinks s10s are wayyyyy over done for boggers? I mean I realize they are everywhere, and don't take this the wrong way, I'm not bashing anybodys rig, just asking a simple question ==wgm. ++peace
thay are
Two of the baddest trucks I know of are s10's. I like a well built rig, don't care really what it has for a body personally
Oh yes I'm with you 100% on this. Years ago when I used to race around town, all I would see was v8 s10's. Everywhere!! Got to the point, that every time I opened my hotrod books, or went to the drag races, thats all I would see! Then I got into off roading and thats all you see now. Kinda takes the thrill out of seeing big lifted trucks trying their luck in a hole, when the line of trucks is 80% of the same thing. When you go to look at someones pics of a bog they went to and AGAIN all you see in the pics are s10 trucks or blazers. No one tries to be original anymore. All you hear is guys talking about how they built their trucks from the ground up and added their touch, yet standing their, it looks like all the other s10 boggers. Body/k5 frame/v8/1 tons. Done! This is being built to death! Cookie cutters are what we call them.
Im with u to its that there so cheap and light thats going to b my next build is a 4 door s10 only cuz i want to have room for other people and it will have 5 tons with 8 45in tires
==wgm this s10 is bad azz
& im drivin it here & took 3rd at fairgrove that year,
Im with Marshall, Who cares as long as it works,
Cheap, Inexpensive to build and light. Yes alot of people have them. But it's to each its own
:'( dont like it, dont do it.
s10's are over done. But there cheep when the old body gets rusty and beat up
this is my sisters boyfriends. doing a small burn out in the parade for the montrose blueberry fest

We all think the s10 thing is WAY over done! Thats why we came here to say we agree with the original post. So you saying "Dont like it. dont do it" makes ABSOLUTELY no sense on this topic! ==doh ==doh Non of us said we plan on building one. Why would we say we are tired of always seeing them built, then go build one??
I own an s10 i love it i just like the looks of them all done up but then again my fam runs all sizes big to small trucks so all good with me
It's all about quality ;) lmao

loll out of everyone i think of an s10 every time i see you post. but yes they are way to many of them but if it works and its on their budget then more power to ya.
==idk but I like my S-10 It is light and alot of fun! After the 80's full size truck had more 2X4's holding the cab up then metal it was time for a change. Not a Jeep or a Ford guy so I went an S-10.. Its not what you build in my opinion but how you build it ++peace I am sure in a few years this topic will be changed to Colorado's instead of S-10 loll
++peace I'm just now building my s-10 bogger and i figure that since I'm not a jeep guy nor a ford guy whats left if i want a light body truck sure as hell wont be dodge, Since i have played in the mud with my full size 86 Chevy and the body's about to fall apart what other Chevy's are there 99 and newer that body weights about 400 lbs more than the 73 to 87 style and besides is it really fair to judge the body when its all about the horsepower and performance, or maybe just a bunch of guys that are trying to have fun! I don't care for jeeps but i don't bad talk em because there are so many!!! Just sayin ++peace
U no i do c more jeeps than s10s sad thing is i have one but its different cuz its a grand Cherokee with a 350 chevy and to what i said before i have a 5 year old son and if he want a ride i have to have something to cover him cuz i was going to make a buggy but what would save him from mud hitting him but this is not bad talking its just people saying what they think
if your going light weight and are a chevy guy not too much else out there ......... and if you really think about it theres not much you can build that you wont have a twin somewhere .....below is a pic of my cookie cutter

s10 or sblazer is a bodystyle ==doh....its about whats underneath...and for the record some of them are BUILT from the ground up applaudd...mine seems to work well for a cookie cutter ;D ++peace
I have a cookie cutter S10 & happy with it ? I just went with what I liked & it was cheap & light ! It's what you are doing & not what you are doing it in. Run with whatever works for you.

==roll gmcc ==djdj ;D
Its funny cuz as the person started this is talking about all these s10s look back on most the people on here they all have them but i will not drive one for a everyday driver there to small and my big truck is a full size
I drive a zr2 only model I will drive
This calls for an s10 club! Just kidding. I like em though.
I think that anyone can say that anything is over done, if you really sit back and look there a lot of full sized rigs out there too... so now are those overdone as well?
What I like about this sport is that you can put two of the same trucks side by side and they will be different in a lot of ways. There are no two rigs that are identical and that is what makes the different, there are a crap ton of wranglers out there too.
I don't worry about anyone else's truck as long as I am having a good time with people that love the sport that I do then leave em alone about what they build and enjoy the fun.
