wonder what that would do to the local/state economy, maybe they ought to recall all the city officials and bring in people that can actually fix the city.

I would like to see them do something. We are known worldwide as being one of the most dangerous cities.

There are reasons for that, just like Flint is a dangerous place too, there are minority groups that contribute to the majority of both cities crime rates...........

Detroit already has a emergency manager. Didn't work.  Detroit is a perfect example why welfare programs fail. Once the leaches outnumber the hosts both die. ==2cents

Detroit has been a hotbed of corruption since the early 60's

it's simply a booger on the hand that needs to be wiped off!!

the city won't change untill the people there decide that they need to do something about their own communities.. no matter what laws get passed or whatever untill the people there decide they want things to get better and are willing to do something about it nothing will ever change, not saying that there aren't some that already feel that way, but it'll take the majority of the people, not just a handfull...
