just wondering what you think of prerunner style truck ?
truck not mine . it just for reff
Sweet for the sand dunes where its balls out, but not for the mud,
Any real advantage besides sticking out too far?
It would be worth having if you lived by the dunes. I so would build one if I was close to one!
i like them but i like the cross country racing to where you see a lot of these
I like anything thats loud and spits dirt
im gonna build up my new truck into a prerunner 98 2wd s10

that would be sweet
Prerunners are mostly and strickly 2wd gonna pick up another engine n start building a turboed 2200
there a lot of 4wd one showing up . there not as common as the 2wd
i guess they would be more of a prerunner style truck

They are very fun in the sand. The more money spent on the suspension the faster you can go in the rough stuff. I would like to add some of their design into my mud truck.
I would love to have a TRUE prerunner if I lived anywhere close to where it could be used... say out west. They are a blast. Just that MI isnt the place for them, other than the dunes.
Oh, and lifting a 2wd doesnt make it a prerunner.

There are 2wd and 4wd classes. I would prefer a 4wd one myself.
When you say 2200... are you talking the S10 4cyl 2.2l? If so... save your money and do it to another motor. Those engines cant handle it.
if we lived where there was miles of open area id have one hands down.silver lake isnt worth buidling one theres no where long enogh to open up a stock truck with out risking somones safty let alone a truck built for that
iv always wanted to do it with a 2wd ramcharger

There's some sweet ones on that site. There very pricey though it'd be about 7k worth of susp + glass for my 07

And why can't they?? With forged internals it will hold 15lbs or better of boost can build a 2.2 To put out 300 hp without a turbo
I like prerunners but then again if it has a motor and wheels im into it lol. I want to build my gmc canyon into one for silver lake but its my everyday driver and dont want to put that kinda money into it yet
