I think you can get a tattoo at any age as long as you have a parent or legal gardians permission. A friend of mine got a tatt when he was 12 because his mom died and got a memorial cross on his forarm.

Child abuse plain and simple... I got plenty of tats and I also have a 3 ye old... they dnt know what it is their mind only will concept it as pain. It disgusts me what people will subject their kids to and then to tape it... come on... I haven't seen the video nor do I intend to watch any video that has any child abuse in it but you can't tell me that a 3yr old would just sit thru a tat like we do. Mine screams and crys when she gets her shots... some one had to hold that kid down or redtrain them from moving and that in my book is torturr

This is true. I'm not saying its right by any means I'm just saying it is legal.

I think that is BS for a couple of reasons
#1. Exactly what xjs3667 said.  I have a 3 yro and 5 yro and I don't like it when I make them cry let alone anyone else!
#2. As a parent who's to say that particular tat is the one that child wants now and or in the future? That child doesn't know what its about or any meaning or anything other than "it looks cool"  that's somethin that child has to live with for the rest of their life, it might not be so "cool" in 10 years!

Secluded tribes have been inking kids as young as a month old for eon's.
Asains practiced foot binding for century's.. starts on newborns.
certain tribe in Africa neck stretch the females and practice cranial distortions

all a matter of perspective..

riding in the bed of a pickup was the thing when I was 5.. you'd be chastized for it now.

It is still legal to ride in the bed of a pickup now days too.... but with limitations..... at least 18yrs old, in the actual bed not sitting on the rails, and gate up and not on highways above 55 mph lmao.  How stupid
