Personally I think it should be legal. If we made it like cigarettes or alchohol and taxed it we could be out of debt. Billion if not trillions of dollars belong to drug cartels and what not. All of that money is illegal and tax free. So think about this. If it becomes legal and is taxed like tabacco not only will that help this country get out of debt but it will cut down drug crimes too because you don't have to worry about drug dealers and gangs fighting eachother over the stuff. Just make an age limit like 18 or 21 and call it good. Sell it in smoke shops. You wouldn't even have to sell it in gas stations or grocery stores so little kids don't see it you gotta be 18 to enter the smoke shop anyway.
What are your thoughts on it guys. Why or why not.
And if you get caught driving while smoking or are under the influence of it while driving you get a dui just like alcohol.
If you get caught smoking under age... Minor in possession ticket. It's no different then alcohol getting you drunk.
Legalize it, don't tax it, quit taxing everything, ==censor the government. :) and no I don't smoke ==roll
Well I'm fine with some taxes but we are being over taxed. We should have sales tax and that's it. And sure ya don't ;) lol
I don't, never have. :) I'm probably the most pro legalizing non smoker you will ever meet ==lmaoo
and taxes are theft, I for one am tired of getting robbed. a=f
Amen to that brotha!
Whoops sorry didn't know which topic to put it in. I'M UNDER THE INFLUENCE. Lmao! Jk!

X2, when was the last time you saw a fking tax get recinded? .....not in my life time......
theres rumors of a tax break on new cars... not sure how far the bill will get though. Only helps people trading in newer cars on brand new cars though. Takes tax from the the trade in value of your current car, deducts that much of the sales tax of the new car. Pretty much just helps those people who go buy a brand new car every year or two.
the feds will never legalize it because they make more money with it being illegal

HOW DO THEY DO THAT? COULD YOU ELABORATE A LITTLE MORE?
taxes to fund the war on drugs, money confiscated from drug busts and property confiscated from busts.
Gotchya.
I say legalize it.
DS is correct..
WAR is a huge money maker for governments.
I don't smoke an I say go for it, it's becoming such a huge deal. My only argument, how would they know your smoking while DUI? Looks the exact same as smoking a cig.

if ur windows down...........they'll smell that skunk bud.
They need to make it legal eagle......and be done with it. I only smoke it a couple times of year, mostly at deer camp in the fall.
Yeah it don't make no difference to me. I guess drinking pop while driving looks like drinking beer while driving.
I have my green card. it is legal for me.

Got arrested at "Smoke down" he's being held by the federal parks police, the phone number(s) to call and demand they release him are:
215-686-3007 or
215-686-3090 or
215 686 3388 or
?? they keep changing phone numbers. "No victim, no crime!" :)
" LISTEN UP FOLKS, Adam Kokesh friends, family and supporters.
Adam Kokesh of AdamVsTheMan has been taken captive NOT by the Philly Police but by Federal PARK POLICE. I just spoke with a woman in the Park Police (215-597-7077) who spoke with her supervisor for me.
Her supervisor said that the Park Police have taken him to 401 NORTH 21st Street which is the 9th District. They do NOT have Positive ID on him right now and if they can't get positive ID within the next 30-45 minutes they will be taking him to a near by FEDERAL DETENTION Center.
I was told that if people go to that location they MIGHT be able to help get him out (possibly by ID'ing him.. IDK)
So the 9th District's # is: 215-686-3090"
someday it'll get legalized, only question is when.....
Probably when the people who want it legalized get up and do something about it just like every other issue in this country ya'll sit around and complain about but don't do a thing to correct.

That's how it should be. You can have it in your bloodstrem and not be high. It stays in your system for about 30 days give or take a few days.
Bingo
I think it should be legalized, just like how you were saying it would bring us out of debt as a country. It would give us the fresh new start that we have been needing for years. There should be a sales tax on it just like there is on everything else we buy. The governments reasoning the last I heard was for why it is not legal is because they cannot measure how much you have had. They want to be able to monitor you, like the blood alcohol level. The government wants to be in control of our lives and to have marijuana legalized right now, they don't have the right equipment to do so. Until they have some contraption to monitor how much you have smoked they will not legalize it in my perspective. I do not smoke marijuana, but I feel that if you do it go free just don't pressure others into doing it.

Yayyy! Lmao and amen! Are you a libertarian by any chance? lol. Lets take over the world and leave everyone alone! ;D
it would be nice to just let people do what they want but as with everything else someone will over do it and some innocent kid will be paying the price...then we will have a post with someone bitching my kid got killed by a pot head and now i've changed my mind it's bad...leave it how it is smoke a dooby in private and you probably won't get caught and the world stays a safer place....:)
When was the last time you heard of someone getting killed by a person that was stoned? When you smoke you dont want to drive because you are too busy cleaning out your fridge. ;D
2 kids in Byron died when a car hit a tree. The cops said marijuana and excessive speed caused the accident. So what was it? Was it that they were high and didn't see the tree? Or that they were 16, inexperienced, and going way to fast down a dirt road? I'd say it was a combo of both. Should the parents of those kids blame the marijuana for the accident, or the kid that was driving like a retard, probably trying to impress his friends. When i was 17, I was cruising down a dirt road, with a buddy, ended up tipping over a bronco II cuz I was trying to be cool. I wasn't smoking, I think that if I would have been, the circumstances might have been different.
Basically, parents need to watch their kids better, and kids gotta start thinking a bit more about their decisions and the future. Marijuana should be and is, for adults.
Many people demonize it, why? You can't over dose on it (1500lbs in 15 minutes would have to be ingested to do so), its not addictive, and the compounds in it gets cancer to eat itself till it goes away(can't smoke enough to get those compounds, but you can extract them). So when you hear marijuana, don't always link it to the bad things you hear. I won't even get into industrial hemp...

They cant acctually proove marijuana was involved. They could have smoked days before the accident and it would have still been in their system. They just do a blood test. It DOES NOT mean they were high. Everything else J.C. i completely agree with it is for adults. It should be regulated just like alcohol or tobacco
Part of the point I was getting at. :-)
Gotchya ;D

I've heard its been used to fight cancer..............maybe that's why the GOV doesn't want it legalized.........they'd rather have thousands each year die of cancer, so the hospital system can RAPE their dying patients.
The whole thing is a GD racket if you ask me...........put very little trust in your GOV people........because they put very little trust in you...............
They finally let him out. :) more info Monday.
