Title: removing paint
Post by: dirty1ton on February 24, 2013, 06:44:25 PM
any ideas on how to remove spray paint from aluminum rims. I have stock chevy rims and trying to find a way to take the paint off without wrecking the finish on the rims.

it will take the paint off, but it might take off the alum. rims clear coat also..........might have to reseal them......probably wouldnt be a bad idea anyway to clean them up, then reseal them with clear coat once you get the paint off them.
