Drive shaft length changes, cross member needs moved, fan might hit radiator, headers might not fit...

I would think its a bad idea making the front too heavy everyone I know move the motor back lol if you have to cut the fire wall build a new one some of the ones I seen look better then stock

so what would happen moved forward a little... dose it affect driving at all or ill just nose dive down all the hills n hols

even if i dont move the mount on the frame, i just move it on the motor side ?

ive seen some plates and things.. i will make my own if i go that way

im just thinkn leaven the mount on the frame where it is and makin a plate to slide motor about 2 in.
is that really goin to displace that much weight?

not sure if i really ready to make a fire wall yet..lol
do you know any forums on here that shows some decent ones

depends upon if you are going to use traction bars, and if so, what type. Yes the best weight transfer is moving the motor back. BUT if you have to move the motor forward for clearance it is do able...  traction bars that run from the rear axle up to the frame near where the motor and trans bolt together. When you get on the gas hard, it helps to transfer the weight off the front tires. thus helping to keep the front from nose diving.

Also.. just by putting in a body lift in the s 10, you gain a ton of room...

it will be harder on your front axle putty more weight on it even if it is 2 inches

I built a new fire wall on my rig, its not all that bad.
I would say move as far back as possable... more weight transfer to the back and keep the nose up as high as u can to float through.
