As a fellow Rustler owner and building one as well. Get as many of the RPM Parts as you can. They take a beating and dont bend or break and if you do break one you send it back to them and they send you a new one.  I am Running RPM Front and Rear A-Arms, Cater Blocks, Rear Bearing housings, Front Bumper and I am waiting on the Trans housing and motor guard to come in.
But to stiffen the truck up these are the three thing that I am running in AL. I picked it up from STRC. Front and Rear Shock towers and Front Bulkhead.

The last thing I need to get is the Chassis.  I am looking at either getting a CF or having my Uncle cutsom make one from AL for me.

Heres a few links for you

Yea the First pic of the R/Cs you have is a Rustler the Bottom one is a Stamped.

I am just going to give you a heads up advice as a R/C hobby guy.  AL parts are nice, but when you bend or break one you do a ton of damage and its going to cost you alot more. I have owned tons of Hobby Grade R/Cs over the past 12 years and I have learned RPM is were its at for parts that are going to break.

But have fun building witch ever one you choose. These are more addictive and costly on the wallet then Real cars for what they are.
