Title: 1997 Expedition SOLD
Post by: FleaAngel666 on March 06, 2013, 10:52:55 PM
1997 Expedition must GO!!!! - $900 OBO (Clio)

I have a 97 ford expedition for sale and it must go. It is 4X4 and a XLT edition it sit on 265 70 R17 tires but i have another set of tires that goes with it. the reason I'm selling it is the motor went out and I dont have the time to put the other motor in it or the help. I have a 4.6L windsor high performance motor to go in, the motor just needs gaskets. the are a lot of extra parts to go with it. The motor has less than 20,000 mile on it, it don't have a ring lip on the cyclender. I have tore down and gone threw the whole motor. All it needs is gaskets. I have a lot of extra parts for the expedition like I have a new oil pump to go with it. And another set of tire's which are 31.5 70R17 they are good for muding. The expedition has the 3rd row seating in it. The seats are in great condition has cloth inter. This expedition was made for towing but does great out in the mud. It got good gas mileage for being an expedition. The expedition sits up higher thaan most XLT expeditions that I have seen. The body is in great condition very little rust. I need to sell it so I can get a cheap car. I am asking 900 dollars OBO I have put up some pictures of the expedition. If you need more pictures I can get them for you. Text or call me at (810)429-2047

Needs to go by Saturday March 16th

I can get some tomorrow. The motor is not brand new, but new for us. I tore it down and the old owner didn't know anything about it. But like I said it don't even have the the ring lip on the cylinder. I have a new oil pump for it because the one on it looks like it went out. But I will get you those pictures in the morning

Well when I brought the expedition it was towing a 32 foot inclosed trailer fully load with construction equipment. This one weighs @ 6300lbs with the motor in. And was built to tow, I used it to tow lawn equipment and it acted like there was nothing back there.

I would do a swap on here to have the motor put in. But I have found a cheap car to buy, so I'm selling it.
