i have a few quadra jets carbs laying around i how do i tell what size they are i got a bbc i want to put one on
I think they are all 750 cfm.
o man that would be sweet thanks
I think there an on demand carb they use what they need upto 800cfm. There good carbs if rebuilt/working right.
im going to rebuild one and throw it on...it beats whats on there now
Run the numbers, or post em there on the side of the carb body, they are on demand carbs, use as much fuel that's needed, SBC q-jets are around a 650-700cfm max and BBC is around 800-850 cfm max, either or will work on a BBC unless your running s monster loll
frist thing to do is how bad are the shaft are in base plate. that is the biggest problem with them. sucking air though the shafts.
Thanks guys i have 9 to choose from and its for a 402 bbc so 750 should be plenty
look down the primarys, if there is a slight bump in one or both of the primarys than it is a bigger carb. if no bump then it is a small carb.
If none of yours are any good I have a pile of them to if u need any parts it peases
