Title: 400 turbo to a 208
Post by: tmspike on March 16, 2013, 07:42:36 PM
What are people talking about when they say they have a 400 trans bolted to a 208 transfer because I have  both and they won't bolt together.  Is there more then one type of 208?

My 208 came off a 700 r4..   so wondering what 208 I would need to bolt up to a 400?

you can also just change the input shaft in the tcase. I've also heard you can get a 27 spline output for the 400 but not sure on that one ==shrug

if you have  a 400 with the adaptor    i have a 208 for the 400  here  150 $      the spine count and the bolt pattern are different,  between 350 and the 400 trans.  pm if interested
