Title: Question!!
Post by: whoischriscates on March 26, 2013, 05:46:31 PM
i have a carburated 351w in my mud truck and i want to run my intake into the cab. single plenum carb hats are expensive so i was wondering if one off of a chevy throttle body injection engine would work?? in that case i could search some junkyards for something. thanks

alright ill have to look for one at some local junkyards. took it out over the weekend and filled the distributer with water and air cleaner sponge was soaked, got pretty lucky on not sucking water in. dried out distributer and it ran fine. so id like to try and prevent the worse from happening while im ahead lol

Look for a Cadillac car in the junkyard they have a plastic cover that fits right on a carb. That's what I'm using ill get a pic tonight for ya.
