If you dont want to wear a helmet fine. But when MY insurance goes up because of these kinds of accidents, I get upset when people make these decisions others have to pay for. Not just money, but losing somebody over some little choice to make when riding.

Sorry about your loss. As a rider myself, I wont be found not wearing one.

sorry about your loss.

I've always wear mine, from dirt to street.
my father always called them "brain buckets", and they do their job.
and they are comfortable.

Almost always wear mine, have had too many close calls with cell phone operators.
I make Cody wear his always, can't force him to and then roll without myself.

I do however prefer to ride without.

I don't ride motorcycles but I did grow up riding sleds a lot and I never rode without a helmet! Just too much can happen in a split second. I have had a few close calls riding with (my boyfriend at the time) on the back of a bike. I plan to get a bike in the future and I will for sure wear a lid! Sorry for you loss! ==rip
