but officer, I just pulled out of the gas station and was in the process of putting it on when you flipped around and pulled me over..
you were on a public highway and didn't have it on when I saw you..
so.. when I saw you without yours on when you pulled me over.. that's OK

why officer.. I'd like to hear the judges reasoning as to why I can show up to court without my helmet, only to pay my seatbelt ticket given by a trooper that was not wearing one himself.
What do you think are my chances ???
Good luck with that. I agree 100% thou. Y can motorcycles go without a helmet but I have to wear my seatbelt. I wear it always or I feel weird.
I'm not one to wear a seatbelt ill admit it never have and prolly never will. I know it's a bad habit but they say sometimes seatbelts save you and sometimes they kill you. So I just don't where them but that's just me but good luck to ya. Gotta love seeing them texting and driving to.
In 2005 the supreme (spelled wrong sorry) court ruled it was not of law enforcement agencies to protect the people. It is there job to enforce the laws. For the same tickets and took a pic of the cop driving away with no belt on. Novi courts magistrate asked if I was a reporter. I said no just a citizen that feels I have to fallow the law so souls the man giving me a ticket. She informed me that taking a picture of an office while he is on duty without his permission is also illegal. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LAND OF THE FREE. FEELS MORE LIKE THE LAND OF THE CONTROLLED TO ME.
