Post by: purecountry on August 27, 2013, 12:54:42 AM
I picked up a 1977 chevy 2500 that needs some body work i just dont know if i stick with the 1980s front end for parts or go back to the 1977 front end?

I've seen that truck for sale on craigslist. It has a 85-87 grille/front clip.

It really boils down to what you want.  It might be hard finding a decent, rust free 77-79 front clip at a decent price.

I personally like the 77 style still very nice  truck I put a 80s style front on a 73ish style cab was a lot of work at least its easier to go back to the the old style lol
