I have a ton of these "trees" all over my yard mostly near the woods. there are no berries or flowers that I have seen. I have read online and looked at pictures of poison sumac but im confused if it has to have the berries and flowers to be the bad kind? I know I had poison something a couple times already this year and if this is the cause I want it gone lol
thanks for any insight anyone may have
that's plain old sumac some people are allergic too it or not they don't get berries till its a mature plant ive had the poison ivy for 6 years in a row haven't had any this year the guys I work with got it soo bad there arms were splitting open this time off year is the worst for it the plants are die ing and the oil level is the highest in them go and get a cortisone /benedryl shot from the doc gets rid off it
just to let you know its a byTch to get rid of. I have it on the hill of my gully and we spray it all the time. county came but this year and sprayed it and I guarantee it will be back next year. I have one right next the house I cut down every year and its coming back worse this year. I am going to have to dig it up and hope I get all the roots or it will come back again.
Cut it off clean so it sticks out of the ground like a tree stump and get TORDON, follow the directions on the bottle and it will not come back.
, it's a weed.. grows like a tree, very distructive and grows FAST.. and is hard to kill..
I rip them from the ground root and all.. if you break them off or dont get the entire root.. it will be back.
it has bark like a tree on some of the larger ones
I have something like that. It gets like little blueberry on it that stain the p00 out of anything it touches. Had 1 a few years ago, now I got them all over near the garage. Gets about 7-10ft tall every year then fall under its own weight.
