Title: CHEVY 350 OIL PRESSURE?
Post by: purecountry on September 20, 2013, 08:14:07 PM
I am getting 70 psi cold idle and 40 psi warm idle. I can rev up the truck warm and it will go back up to 70 psi then fall back down to 40 psi.  Is this normal and i already have tried it on 2 different gauges.

I've heard that the lowest you can have on a SBC without damage was like 8psi? I could be wrong.

I change my bearings if it drops to 15
