What kinda motor? If its a 350 you can pull the accesory bracket off of a tbi motor and a tbi water pump and a tbi crank pully.

if you have a big block you will need the system off a big block, if you have a small block you need the system off a small block or a 4.3

get some belts with no notches on them. on the bottom or the v part of the belt. what is happening is the notches grab the pulley and walk up the pulley at high rpm and come off.

Let me guess, you keep tossing the alt. belt.  The pulleys aren't lined up correctly.  It works fine for every day driving, but get it over 5500 rpm's and they come off.   The easiest fix is finding a serp set up off a 86-87 bbc.  the flat belt only ran the alt and water pump.  it still uses the standard water pump.   You can buy a aftermarket set of pulleys that actually line up.

Auto parts store can't remember the part number but seems like it was for a ford ranger I'll look around and see if I can find the box I know I have it - you will have to cut a spacer or use some washers to line it up

Couldn't find the box for it - the factory alternator lower bracket has a hole in it that's what I used

mine kept throwing the power steering belt so i found a larger pulley and cut the outer portions of it off and welded them to the outer edge of my existing pulley which made the pulley about an inch deep, couldn't throw the belt if i wanted to now.
