Title: sawpping tbi to carb

i know this has probably been asked a million times but here goes again........got a GM tbi engine would like to put a carb on it.....will an older stock intake fit on off an older small block.....i cant use the tbi on it cause i dont have a wire harness or computer for it.

i might be wrong but if it is a vortec motor then the older style intakes will not work. that is how the 4.3 motors are so I assume its the same for the v8s.

u can drill the center bolts holes to fit on the tbi block.. seen it work fine ..

You could also do what i did and bolt on an older set of heads. Then the old style intake will work.

With TBI motors all you have to do is whop out the center holes on the intake a little since they bolt down on different angle, and it will work fine
