Post by: jbeery78 on January 25, 2014, 03:18:06 PM
Thinking about grooving the center tread bars on my gumbos to make them resemble a tsl... any tricks for doing this besides a tire groover? Thought about getting my grinder out and VERY CAREFULLY taking a try at it haha  applaudd

Ideal tire groovers are cheap you can get one on eBay for like 60 bucks and once you have one you will always have one for future tire grooving

I used a multi purpose tool from harbor freight with a scraper blade, cut my 44hawgs with it an it work pretty well. A lot faster than a groover.
