Title: sidways single carb ?

What would be the atvantage of doing this over the inline way ??

Less g forces front back to front, now side to side for better fuel delivery?

I was thinking mustang, but I think your right. Looked like a Ford intake...but I think its a carbed intake for ls1

Edit...yes its a 4th gen, seems a lot of guys are doing that to them. With a carb mounted traditionally, the throttle cable is extremely bent up, and the windshield is in the way. They also say this requires an intake with a square 4500 flange, as the 4150 flanged intakes are tipped slightly forward to offset the motor.
