Title: 98 Chevy won't start bin wking on for a month

98 Chevy plow truck to get it to start I have to put the peddle to the floor then fether it till to will idle if I hit the breaks it dies if I hit the breaks and giv it so gas it will kinda stay running then with taking my foot off the break it will go back to idle and if I put it in gear it will ether die or the rpm will go down to 200 or so almost die then come back up to idle once ur driving its fine but as soon as u try to go to R it Try's to die any thing that puts a load on the motor it try's to die or any Change in vacuum it dies, I'm sick of thinking and it's about to go to a dealer, I've changer the tps the maf sencer the fuel pump the filters the fuel pressure regulator and the whole spider injection system it's got great spark but unless u give it gas it will just sit and crank and crank and crank, sry about the spelling lol but could someone please help

Sounds like its sucking air somewhere my old truck did the same thing but it was carburetor

Sounds like you have a bad coolant temp sensor (computer one not the gauge one) thats how my old jimmy ran probably flooding it out. Cheap part, $13? Should go up by the thermostat housing

x2 will cause a lot of problems when its cold, doesnt let it choke

Nope no p135, and I sprayed stating fluid around the whole intake to see if the rpm went up, and yes it dose have a coolant temp code I just didn't think anything of it I'm going to Change it right now on my way to the parts place ill let u know

That's right had a few problems myself with that u can run a small jumper wire that will let u no

Wow thank u so much guys that would have never crossed my mind ever put a new one in fired right up I never would have thought that had anything to do with the actual start/run of the truck
