Friend of mine has a bravada that has me stumped, it won't start on cold single digit mornings but later on in the day it starts right up. Any ideas?
Coolant temp sensor...one for the computer not gauges, or air temp sensor, or maf sensor
There's no check engine light and it runs great once it starts. My first thought was water in the gas, but 3 days in a row?
What does it do when you try to start it when its cold?
I should of asked...loll it is cranking over right?
And the CTS for the computer very rarely pops a code, same thing with air temp sensor, I have never seen it pop a code, but yours might not have an air temp sensor, if you do its the size of a CTS, and will be on engine side of filter box or in the flex tube out of air box to throttle body,
And while we're at it the IAC can get stuck and not throw a code also
My 01 s10 doesn't' like to start cold either. Hope to hear the awnser! As long as I don't keep cranking on mine though it will start 3 or 4th try.
change the dizzy... itll fix it. done 5 like this 3 4.3 vortecs and 2 5.7 vortecs.. loaded dizzys from orileys 130 bux drop in ready.. and they are aluminum not plastic
dumped some dry gas in it for now see what it does the next couple days. Have a feeling its just bad gas since it just started doing it this week, hasn't had another tank ran threw yet.

It just cranks and cranks with a slight fire here and there then cranks some more. Later on in the day hit the key fires right up
