Anybody know what my 75 blazer is worth? Thinkin about selling it
The important pictures are underneath, doesn't matter how shiny the top is. I would pay more for a solid shell then a rusty driver.
Yea and a little info on it would be helpful loll
Runs and drives good floor boards are solid original motor and tranny needs interior and a back window
74xxx miles
run down on the drive train
Yea what drive train, and im going to assume the odometer rolled at least once since its a 75 so its at least 174xxx miles on it
Want!
My dad just had his appraised for insurance in about the same shape yours is probly worth a little more but they only appraised it for 1774 kind of a bummer but they were an odd duck and his booked out a little more because its the rare 350/4brl/sm465/203/3.73 truck
But that is just an appraisal for insurance... I'd say your probly safe asking 3000? It looks pretty solid.
if its solid Ive seen them go for $3500-5000

73-75 were the only years for them. Full time wouldn't work right so they 86d it if I remember right
NP203/SM465: In 1974 GM began offering its full time Np203 behind manual trannys ( I speak only of the SM465 because I've never seen a 203 bolted to a 3spd on the tree). For some reason unknown to me (because I havent been able to find credable info) The full time Np203 did not want to work behind a manual trans, I dont know if this had to do with letting in & out on the clutch or what............but I do know that GM only offered the Sm465/NP203 combo for 1974......and early 75 after finding out that it just wasnt a good combination to pair up. Finding a 465/203 can be very hard, since it was offered for a very short time.
What is really ironic about GM's discontinue of the Sm465/203 in early 1975 is the fact that Dodge in 1975-1979 offered manual tranmission's with their full time Np203 equipted 4x4's. In 1974/75 Dodge began using the Np203.........and it became the only T-case they used with either a auto trans, or stick until they did away with the Np203 in 1979. And I havent read anything about dodge having problems with 203's bolted to manual trannys. Ford used the NP203 in the 70's also.............but I am not sure if it was offered behind a manual trans........but I have seen them behind auto trannys.
1974: Np203 offered in all GM 4x4 models stick or automatic ordered with V8. Locking diff was offered with Np203 full time 4x4.
1975: Sm465/203 combo was done away with.

I paid $3,000 for my 88. But it was completely original and super solid from Arizona. I mean it was sun burnt, but all the metal was solid, zero rust, till I drove it a winter here. Had 50k original miles. Then I buchered it.
One key bit of info here is that your k5 is a 75..........and that was the last year for the FULL convertible removable roof. Which is a big plus in the price.
Second, since this has an auto trans, more than likely its got the NP203, which if converted to part time 4x4 will be desirable as well (unless some diehard collector wants the original gas guzzling all wheel drive intact).
If the interior is shot, then that will detract from the price some, a clean 73-80 interior is hard to find, but you can buy after market interior carpet, dash pad, door panels, ect.
If your motor is good, trans is good, axles good, I bet you could get 4000/4500 for it.
I scope out craigslist in Michigan quite often for K5 blazer's and you just don't see that many any more, especially the 69-72 K5's.
I've got a 75 myself with a TBI SBC in it with the sm465/203 and I pull 14 mpgs with it daily driving it. It gets better milage then my 01 explorer so I drive the 75 lol
Is this for sale?
