Title: cummins engines
Post by: BigFrank on April 02, 2014, 10:18:16 PM
was out looking around at the honey hole  and theres a cummins engine sitting there pretty much complete   I don't know much about them as far as what would have too be changed too put it in a 3/4 or 1 ton pickup /mud truck    first thing  I seen was the power steering pump mounts are about 10 inches higher than the top of valve cover  and the oil pan has a big sump in the front   but the  biggest question too me is what would I have to be changed too hook it too a gm trans  its got a stick flywheel on it

One thing about the cummins engines that is nice is just about everything is interchangeable. They are all basically the same block with different parts bolted on for different applications.
