What kinda truck? What kinda fuel cell? Is it carb or fuel injected, need more info? Pure off road or race truck ? Do you really need a sending unit to tell how much fuel you have ?

Holley pump and regulator would be my suggestion

82 chevy, 383 stroker with Holley 750DP carb. Looking into a Summit 22 gal plastic cell.  going to be used as a dune truck mostly and to putt around town/ cruise around.  Sending unit would be  nice if it was accurate

I would say what ever the tank manufacture suggest then as far as fuel sender, everything else could be hit or miss

For fuel sender....measure the ohms on stock one with float down then again with float up.....and then you can get one for your cell that's within those specs and u can use your factory guage

your truck should use a 90 ohm fuel sender for the guage. As for the pump if you want electric just throw a holley blue on it make sure to use a filter before pump or pre pump and post pump.
