Title: parker crossbow rant
Post by: big red on October 26, 2014, 09:21:30 PM
I bought a parker thunderhawk about a month ago. First time i get it out 2 bolts fall out of the quiver walking through a hay field to a blind... i found them luck was on my side.. Well i get a tree stand set up ans have bolts randomly fall out of quiver from tree. Today i pick my bow out of the case, put the quiver on and the mount falls off the bow... the mount is held by 1 (one) spot of glue and nothing else. $600 for a bow and it falla apart within a month.... what am i doing wrong? Bolts are always snapped into place ane snug against the bottom of the quiver.

I have a Horton crossbow and a Mathews compound.  I have less that $400 invested into the pair including all upgrades and tune-ups new strings etc.  moral of the story, buy used good stuff and fix it up like new, instead of buying new crappy stuff.

Oh and I bought them both from people on ==wgm
