Title: HELP WITH A HOLLEY

looking for some help tuning my jeep i have 4 barrel intake on a 258 straight 6  with a holley 600 /vacuum secondaries  runs good just seem like its dumping fuel bogs out  when u get on it need some one to come tune it

You can only run a carb so lean before you hurt it even worse. Just did a job putting carb on same motor. It took around a 400 to get it tuned right.

do u know witch way  the screws turn for more and less air/fuel

I'm running a 470 cfm on a 4.3 v6 and it's too much at times. So you running a 4 barrel 600 is too much. I had one on mine but I disabled the secondaries so it worked ok.

if it bogs when you open the throttle, you have to much air and not enough fuel.  That is why there are accelerator pumps on the primary side of the carb.  Try to change the springs that open the secondary's up to slow them down.

you just need to tune the carb in, its not to big.  a friend ran a 3310 (750 cfm) on one the with small cam in it.

thats what im saying it runs good just getting to much fuel i got a header on there which  makes her scream
