Title: Licensed contractor in Lapeer
Post by: mike on August 11, 2015, 02:08:26 AM
Going through the frustrating process of buying a house through rural development  (usda loan).  It's rediculous. Any who, after our inspection and appraisal (lady was a dolt) the under writers are worried about the well distance from septic ( apparently nobody measured it) and some moisture in the basement (old michigan basement somebody (finished).

I guess we need somebody to look at it and say what does/doesn't need fixed as far as that goes. I'm not licensed so I can't do the paper work. Stupid stuff. Can any one help in the next few days?

We are planning a wrap around porch after putting floor drains and sump in the basement. Water isn't that bad from the walls but the old well stub leaks a little. All that is pretty easy to fix. And the porch will aid in drainage. I've about had it with this process.
