So I got my orders to move for work. Any tips for driving cross country from San Diego, ca to Pensacola, Florida?
I'll be driving my 2001 ram 3500 dually with 2 dirt bikes in the bed and u haul trailer in tow with my lifted 95 ram 1500 on it
I got fluids, tools, and spare tires (2) so no worries there. I have EGR/fuel pressure/ boost gauges in dually so I can monitor things.
Anything I'm missing here guys?
extra fuel. I always run out in BFE with a GPS showing me gas stations that have been closed for a decade. lolol
Watch rest areas.. tend to attract undesirable people sometimes.
check out fuel prices in each state your going thru.. prices can jump around and if you map it out correctly you can save some serious $$$.
hoses/belts on tow rig.
Good luck, you takin I 10 all the way?

Beef jerky, cooler of drinks, camera.
'GasBuddy' is a great ap that lets you find the cheapest gas near you. For road trips, it's awesome! I'll pull over early & get 3/4 tank of gas & save a few bucks rather than run it until empty & have to buy at a higher price.
Condoms and Funyuns....
