1994 Ford 7.3 IDI turbo injection pump question.

My new tow rig has some issues I'm working out.  I want to know if the turbo and non-turbo injection pumps are the same.  I have poor delivery pressure and volume on the #8 cylinder so I am going to have to replace or rebuild my pump.  I would assume that if the two pumps are identical then the non-turbo pump would have to be adjusted to compensate for the turbo.  Please educate me on this subject
