Full time rear, air locker front.  I run a front Detroit locker and I really like it.  I don't drive my rig on the street but I've never had a problem with turning or clunking when moving on dry pavement.  The new quit series Detroits are nice.

what about winter slippery driving with a full time locked rear end and a Detroit in the front??

If you can afford it, put a limited slip or locker in the rear verses welding for winter driving.

if you have the money, both

if you only have the money for one, rear

id personally do the front first myself. keep traction w/ the front wheels when all the load of acceleration shifts to the rear

also, it depens on how much $ you have, the selectables, like an arb, detriot, etc. run more $, the powertrax/ aussie type cost less, and its not replacing the whole carrier on the install

i put limited slip carriers front and rear.  found front one fairly cheap on ebay(150 shipped) and got the rear one out of a totaled truck with 15K on it.  they give my truck good on road manners and very decent off road traction.

Yea when I do it I will go new.  I think a selectable locker in the front would be the best investment for road manners and off road teeth. Also I need to put a set of 4.11 gears.
I just need to decide on a locker. Someone Buy my Glock listed in sporting goods  so I can get a new gun.

do the rear first.  slippery roads in the winter  arent really a problem with a locker.   i got a detroit locker in my daily driver and love it.  never had a problem in the winter with it either.  lot easier to donuts  even on dry pavement  lol.

Well after some thinking I think I am going to go with a ARB in the front and keep the factory track lock in the back. And 4.56 gears. That should move the 34" tires nicely on and off road. I don't do over 60 in my jeep anyway.
