questions on jeep

i'm looking at a 1980 cj7 4x4 with a 304 4 speed in it the body is shot and the frame has a few rust spots in it around the shackles the guy wnats 750.00 for it amd i don't know whats its worth any help would be helpful thanks

doesnt sound safe.. but i never trusted jeeps frames. Body dont matter if ur just gonna wheel it tho. Good engine and trans if it runs good. Jus my opinion but if it looks like the frame is ready to rust threw anywhere, i'd keep lookin.

Buy it. The frames are an easy fix. You can get all new body parts.
